Members of the Juneau-Douglas Shrine Club travelled to Sitka to join the Sitka Shrine Club and officers from Al Aska Shrine for Alaska Day festivities on Oct. 18.
Events began the evening before with a Special Meeting oof Al Aska Shrine. At that meeting, Al Aska welcomed three new Nobles with a Ceremonial.
The next day, Nobles new and old took part in the Alaska Day Parade in Sitka, handing out hundreds of whistles to the children lining the parade route.
