PART OF JUNEAU'S MASONIC FAMILY
Friendship, service, and shared purpose
Juneau Chapter No. 7, Order of the Eastern Star, is part of a fraternal tradition that brings eligible women and Master Masons together around fellowship, service, and moral teachings conveyed through symbolic ceremony.
What is Eastern Star?
Eastern Star is a separate organization with its own ceremonies and traditions. Its members find opportunities to make friendships, practice care for others, and take part in local and wider charitable efforts. The Order has a spiritual foundation, but it is not itself a church or a substitute for personal religious faith.
A place in Juneau's Masonic community
For generations, Eastern Star members have contributed to the social and charitable life of Juneau, from fellowship gatherings to projects supporting causes important to local members. The Chapter is one part of the wider Masonic family and welcomes appropriate inquiries from those interested in learning more.
Interested in membership?
Membership eligibility follows the Order's rules and is not identical to Blue Lodge eligibility. Contact Juneau Chapter No. 7 to ask about qualifications, current activities, and how to meet its members.
